Duluth's Pure Taqueria Going Up Quickly Downtown

Restaurant floor poured, walls being installed. Roof to be erected and building 'dried in' soon.

Construction of Pure Taqueria at the corner of Ga. Hwy. 120 and Main Street in Duluth is progressing rapidly. The concrete floor has been poured, and walls are being installed.

The popular restaurant’s opening continues on target for Sept. 17 giving staff a week to get up and running smoothly for crowds attending the Duluth Fall Festival the following weekend (Sept. 24-25).

Duluth Economic Development Manager Chris McGahee reported at the July 26 Duluth Downtown Development Authority meeting that the contractor expects to have the walls completely installed, the roof erected and the building "dried in" within two weeks. A crane began placing the walls on the cured floor last Thursday (July 28).
