One More Day of Rain, Then Maybe Snow

The week-long rainy weather is expected to end Thursday night, but could turn to snow, according to the National Weather Service.

Duluth, there is good news and bad news to report on the weather.

The National Weather Service is reporting that the rain that's been around all week is about to end tonight, but due to dropping temperatures, we could get a bit of snow this evening.

The forecast Thursday calls for 100 percent chance of rain. There could be as much as an inch of rain today. Temperatures expected to reach 51. West wind 5 to 10 mph, with gusts as high as 15 mph.

And for tonight the weather service predicts:

  • Rain and snow likely, mainly before 9 p.m. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 27. Northwest wind 10 to 15 m.p.h, with gusts as high as 25 mph. Chance of precipitation is 70%. Little or no snow accumulation expected.

Friday is expect to be sunny with a high of 51 degrees.
