Hunt for Easter Eggs, Snag Doggy Treats March 30

Duluth Parks and Recreation Department sponsoring 20th annual Easter Egg Hunt. Best Friends Pet Care giving away doggy treats.

Duluth children can hunt for Easter Eggs at Rogers Bridge Park Saturday, March 30, and pets can snag doggy treats at Chattapoochee Dog Park.

The 20th annual Egg Hunt sponsored by the Duluth Parks and Recreation Department will start at 1 p.m. at Rogers Bridge Park, 4291 Rogers Bridge Road. There will be prizes, music, goodies, games, and a visit from Peter Cottontail.

Admission is free, but children should bring their own baskets to gather eggs.

A brunch with the Easter Bunny will be available at 11:30 a.m. Donuts and juice will be served for $3. Parents may bring cameras to take photos.

Then Best Friends Pet Care Treat Truck for Dogs will give away doggy ice cream treats, cookies, tennis balls, and paw towels from 3:30 to 6 p.m. at Chattapoochee Dog Park located in Rogers Bridge Park.

Best Friends Pet Care, which has a Duluth location, will also bring a mini-agility trial course to the dog park. The course features a tunnel, weave poles, a tire jump, a bar jump and more. No experience is needed, and Best Friends staff with be on hand to assist first-timers.
