Hop Over to Rogers Bridge Park for Egg Hunt Sunday

Thousands of eggs hidden for children to find. Easter Bunny to visit, face painting, and more.

The Easter Bunny and his helpers are hiding lots of eggs for children to find Sunday (April 17) at .

The hunt for the colorful eggs starts at 2 p.m. at Rogers Bridge Park, 4291 Rogers Bridge Rd. Children ages 1-4 will gather for the egg hunt at Pavilion No. 1. The egg hunt for children ages 5 and up starts at Pavilion No. 2. This is the first year the egg hunt has been held at Rogers Bridge Park instead of .

There will be special prizes, music, face painting, goodies, games, and a surprise visit from the Easter Bunny at the free event sponsored by the city. Egg hunt participants need to bring their own baskets to collect eggs.

“We have thousands of eggs for the eager egg hunters,” said Kathy Marelle, director of the city’s Parks and Recreation Department. “Our egg hunt is a non-competitive event so that all kids will enjoy the experience of hunting for eggs.”
