Girl Scouts to Gather for Reunion Tea

Women who were Girl Scouts prior to 1969 invited to tea and showing of 1918 movie.

Former Duluth Girl Scouts are invited to gather at Bethesda Park Senior Center in Lawrenceville Sunday, March 12, for a Reunion Tea from 2 to 3:30 p.m. to celebrate the 100th Anniversary founding of the Girl Scouts of the USA. The event is open to women who were Girl Scouts prior to 1969.

Attendees are encouraged to share stories and photos from their years as Girl Scouts. Light refreshments will be served.

There also will be a showing of the 1918 film β€œThe Golden Eaglet,” a feature film about Girl Scouting that was shown in movie theaters throughout the country after World War I.
