Falling Gas Prices Make 4th of July Travel More Popular

Gas prices all over the country are falling lower and lower.

With the Fourth of July weekend just around the corner many people are planning to travel out of town. Some that weren't planning to when gas was close to $4.00 a tank, have changed their minds.Β  According to the AAA Fuel Gauge report, the national average for a gallon of regular gas is no $3.39, down from $3.64 a month ago. The average price in Georgia is $3.152 and is still continuing to drop.

The rapid fall of prices is due to several factors combined. The price of a barrel of oil has fallen and the demand for gasoline has fallen. Many experts are predicting that gas could drop another .

According to Atlanta Gas Prices, the prices in Duluth are even lower than the state average. Costco on Venture Dr. has regular gas at $3.02 just a few hours ago. Sims, Kroger, and Quiktrip all advertised $3.05 per gallon early this morning.
