Early Morning Community Health Fair Offered Friday

Gwinnett Medical Center and Partnership Gwinnett presenting health fair at Gwinnett Tech.

Gwinnett Medical Center and Partnership Gwinnett are presenting a community health fair Friday, Aug. 19, at Gwinnett Technical College. Members of the public interested in improving their health will be able to visit educational booths, participate in healthcare screenings and attend educational seminars on nutrition, fitness and stress management from 7:30-9:30 a.m.    

Registration is free and open to the public at gmc-rsvp.org.

All those interested in receiving health screenings must sign a waiver upon entry to the event. A continental breakfast will be provided.

Speakers will be Lois Vergis, MS, RD, LD, CDE, and Edward Gilbert, MS, CSCS. 

Besides Gwinnett Technical College, sponsors include Georgia United Credit Union and Garden Plaza.

The health fair will be conducted in the 700 Building (Busbee Center) at Gwinnett Technical College, 5150 Sugarloaf Pkwy. In Lawrenceville.Gwinnett Medical Center has campuses in Lawrenceville and Duluth.
