Duluth Rotary Hosting First Car Show

Register cars in advance online or the day of the show. Proceeds benefit Operation One Voice.

With the cooperation of the City of Duluth, the Rotary Club of Duluth will host its First Annual Car Show Saturday, April 13, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. along the square (adjacent to the Town Green) in historic downtown Duluth.

Proceeds from the event will benefit Operation One Voice, a Duluth-based non-profit organization that assists children and families of fallen Special Operations Forces.

Owners of cars -- antique classics, foreign sports, hotrods, 1972 & older muscles, and post 1972 muscles -- and pickups are invited to participate in the show for an entry fee of $20 per car through April 12 and $25 per car on the day of the show. Preregistration, available online at DuluthRotaryCarShow.org, is recommended. Vehicles will be allowed in the show on a first-come, first-served basis.

Professional judges will choose first, second and third place winners in each category, and attendees will cast their votes for a people’s choice overall winner.

The family-friendly event, which is free to spectators and open to the public, will feature a 50-50 drawing in which one winner splits the pot with Duluth Rotary; a concession stand with burgers, hot dogs, chips and drinks; and the event’s commemorative T-shirt for sale. Downtown Duluth merchants will also remain open for business.
