Duluth Area Road, Lane Closings Feb. 18-24

The Gwinnett Department of Transportation has released a list of road and lane closings for the week of Feb. 18-24. Here's this week's list:

• Appalossa Trail east of Verner Road to west of Huntcliff Drive will close February 22 through March 30, 2012 for culvert replacement, weather permitting.  The detour route will be Appaloosa Trail to Mustang Drive to Ingram Road to Pond Road to Satellite Boulevard to Beaver Ruin Road to Rockborough Trail to Appalossa Trail and the reverse.  For further information contact the Department of Water Resources at 678-376-6926.

• Alcovy Road from Campbell Road to West Drowning Creek Road will require intermittent lane closure through December 2012 for roadway improvements associated with Sugarloaf Parkway extension, weather permitting. Any such closures will be between the hours of 9:00am and 4:00pm
• Bramlett Shoals Road from Brooks Road to Bramlett Shoals Road Connector will require intermittent lane closures through March 2012 for roadway improvements associated with Sugarloaf Parkway extension, weather permitting. Any such closures will be between the hours of 9:00am and 4:00pm.
• Campbell Road West from Campbell Road to Alcovy Road will require intermittent lane closures through March 2012 for roadway improvements associated with Sugarloaf Parkway extension, weather permitting. Any such closures will be between the hours of 9:00am and 4:00pm.
• Dacula Road at Old Peachtree Road will require intermittent lane closures and traffic shifts through June 2012 for intersection improvements, weather permitting. Any such closures will be between the hours of 9:00am and 4:00pm. 
• Fence Road from Dacula Road to River Pass Court NE will require intermittent lane closures through June 2012 for sidewalk improvements, weather permitting. Any such closures will be between the hours of 9:00am and 4:00pm.
• Fence Road from York View Drive to Little Mulberry River Park will require intermittent lane closure through March 2012 for roadway improvements, weather permitting. Any such closures will be between the hours of 9:00am and 4:00pm.
• Francis Place from Gateway Drive to Hale Drive will close Feb. 6 through 27 for drainage improvements, weather permitting. Any such closures will be between the hours of 9:00am and 4pm. For further information contact the Department of Water Resourves at 678-376-6926.
• Indian Shoals Road at Masters Road will require intermittent land closures through April 2012 for intersection improvements, weather permitting. Any such closures will be between the hours of 9:00am and 4:00pm. For further information contact the Department of Community Services at 770-822-8829.
• Indian Trail Road from Beaver Ruin Road to Oakbrook Parkway will require intermittent lane closures through August 2012 for roadway improvements, and median installation, weather permitting. Any such closures will be between the hours of 9:00am and 4:00pm.
• Johnson Road at US 29/Lawrenceville Highway will require intermittent lane closures through February 2012 for roadway improvements, weather permitting. Any such closures will be between the hours of 9:00am and 4:00pm.
• Killian Hill Road from Stonemont Drive to Pathfinder Way will require intermittent lane closures, and traffic shifts through September 2012 for bridge replacement and roadway improvements, weather permitting. Any such closures will be between the hours of 9:00am and 4:00pm.
• Lee Road over No Business Creek will require intermittent lane closures and traffic shifts through June 2012 for bridge replacement, weather permitting. Any such closures will be between the hours of 9:00am and 4:00pm.
• Martins Chapel Road from Bramlett Shoals Road to Bramlett Shoals Connector will require intermittent lane closures through March 2012 for roadway improvements associated with Sugarloaf Parkway extension, weather permitting. Any such closures will be between the hours of 9:00am and 4:00pm.
• Miller Road from Cole Drive to Hambrick Drive will require intermittent lane closures through July 2012 for sidewalk improvements, weather permitting. Any such closures will be between the hours of 9:00am and 4:00pm.
• New Hope Road from Country Acres Lane to Ivy Lea Drive SE will require intermittent lane closures, and traffic shifts through July 2012 for roadway improvements and intersection alignments, weather permitting. Any such closures will be between the hours of 9:00am and 4:00pm. 
• New Hope Road from Tribble Mill Parkway to Callie Still Road will require intermittent lane closures through March 2012 for pedestrian improvements, weather permitting. Any such closures will be between the hours of 9:00am and 4:00pm.
• North Norcross Tucker Road from Western Hills Drive to Pelican Drive will require intermittent lane closures through June 2012 for roadway widening and intersection improvements, weather permitting. Any such closures will be between the hours of 9:00am and 4:00pm. 
• Old Peachtree Road at Sunny Hill Road will require intermittent lane closures through April 2012 for roadway improvements, weather permitting. Any such closures will be between the hours of 9:00am and 4:00pm.
• Patterson Road will close February 21 through February 23 at Barn for railroad repairs, weather permitting. The detour route will be US 29 to Arnold Road to Five Forks Trickum Road to Patterson Road and the reverse.
• Peachtree Industrial Boulevard from Pleasant Hill Road to Summer Chase Drive will require intermittent lane closures through March 2012 for multi-use path construction and roadway improvements, weather permitting. Any such closures will be between the hours of 9:00am and 4:00pm.
• Pleasant Hill Road from McClure Bridge Road/Howell Ferry Road to US 23/Buford Highway will require intermittent lane closures through July 2013 for road widening and improvements, weather permitting. Any such closures will be between the hours of 9:00am and 5:00pm.
• Pleasant Hill Road from US 23/Buford Highway to US 29/Lawrenceville Highway will require intermittent lane closures through October 2012 for ATMS improvements, weather permitting. Any such closures will be between the hours of 9:00am and 4:00pm.
• Ridge Drive from Satellite Boulevard and Woodward Mill Road will close until further notice.
• Rock Springs Road from Bluffton Road to Pine Log Way will require intermittent lane closures through May 2012 for roadway improvements, weather permitting. Any such closures will be between the hours of 9:00am and 4:00pm.
• Rockbridge Road from Stovall Road to Lilburn Stone Mountain Road will require intermittent lane closures through June 2012 for roadway improvements, weather permitting. Any such closures will be between the hours of 9:00am 4:00pm.
• Ronald Reagan Parkway will close for the “Run the Reagan Half Marathon” on Friday, February 17 at 11:00pm through Saturday, February 18 at 5:00pm.  For further information, please contact the Run the Reagan Committee at 770-518-8002 or visit their website at www.runthereagan.net.
• SR 20/Nelson Brogdon Blvd/Buford Drive from Peachtree Industrial Boulevard to I-985 will require intermittent lane closures through October 2012 for ATMS improvements, weather permitting.  Any such closures will be between the hours of 9:00am and 4:00pm.
• SR 316/University Parkway from Boggs Road to Sugarloaf Parkway will require intermittent single lane closures and pacing through September 2012 for roadway widening and improvements, weather permitting. The daytime single lane closures and pacing will be between 10:00am to 3:00pm Monday through Friday. Nighttime single lane closures will be from 9:00pm to 5:00am, 7 days a week.
• SR 316/University Parkway from Winder Highway to Harbins Road will require intermittent lane closures through December 2012 for roadway improvements associated with Sugarloaf Parkway extension, weather permitting. Any such closures will be between the hours of 9:00am and 4:00pm.
• South Harris Street from the intersection of Buford Highway westerly 300 feet will permanently close.  For further information contact the City of Buford at 770.945.6761.
• Sugarloaf Parkway from the Gwinnett Arena to North Brown Road will require intermittent lane closures through April 2012 for pedestrian improvements, weather permitting. Any such closures will be between the hours of 9:00am and 4:00pm.
• Temple Johnson Road from Skyland Drive to Preserve Creek Way will require intermittent lane closures through April 2012 for roadway improvements, weather permitting. Any such closures will be between the hours of 9:00am and 4:00pm.
• US 29/Lawrenceville Highway from Lawrenceville Suwanee Road to Sterling Hill Road will require intermittent lane closures through April 2012 for roadway improvements, weather permitting. Any such closures will be between the hours of 9:00am and 4:00pm.
• West Campbell Road closed permanently due to Sugarloaf Parkway extension.
