Beer, Music Lovers Attend BeerFest

The first Duluth BeerFest - Brews & Tunes featured beer tastings, music, and food on the Duluth Town Green.

An estimated 1,000 beer and music lovers turned out for the inaugural Duluth BeerFest – Brews & Tunes Saturday, June 1, on the Duluth Town Green.

The BrewFest featured tastings of international and regional craft beers. Seven distributors provided beer from more than 50 breweries. Three cider houses offered over a dozen different ciders. Also, pizza, brats, hot dogs, hamburgers, tacos, and barbecue were available in the Food Court.

Bands performing on the Duluth Festival Center stage included The Acorns, Smokey’s Farmland Band and Mercury Orkestar.

Ticket holders received souvenir tasting glasses as they entered the festival. Designated drivers were admitted free.
