Georgia United Credit Union Now Accepting Toy Donations for Annual Wish Tree Program

Duluth, GA (November 21, 2013) Georgia United Credit Union is holding its 24th annual Wish Tree program to collect new toys and clothing for deserving foster children with local Departments of Family & Children’s Services. Georgia United invites any interested individuals, schools, or civic groups to participate by dropping off a gift at any of the 16 Georgia United Branch locations before December 13 so deliveries can be made to DFCS prior to the week of Christmas.

The Annual Wish Tree Program is one of Georgia United’s longest-running community service projects and one of its most successful with an estimated 13,200 gifts donated to multiple county DFCS offices during the program's 24 year tenure.

"Georgia United has always been involved in the communities we serve across the state. As the economy continues to experience challenges, we want to reach out to our county neighbors who are interested in donating toys to deserving children right here at home," said Doug Foote, Georgia United President and CEO.
