Duluth resident joins rapidly growing national mortgage company

Mortgage veteran Chris Bowers has varied experience, including risk management

PrivatePlus Mortgage, a division of Private Bank of Buckhead, has named Chris Bowers Director of Secondary Markets. Bowers has been in the mortgage industry since 2000. His areas of expertise include pipeline and risk management, loan delivery, profitability and systems integration.

“The secondary market is vital to a large, diversified outfit like ours,” says Dan Smith, President of Private Plus, “and Chris brings us both strength and breadth in this area.”

After graduating with a BS in mathematics from Georgia Southern in 1999, Bowers moved back to Atlanta to follow in the footsteps of his family and began his mortgage career. Before joining PrivatePlus, he honed his skill sets at several other organizations, including Fidelity Bank and Heritage Bank.

“I believe success is a direct result of hard work, dedication, and opportunity,” Bowers says. He has lived in Duluth since 2003 and loves to play ALTA tennis and golf. He also enjoys attending music and sporting events, and spending time with family and friends, especially his young niece and nephew.

PrivatePlus Mortgage promises great products, pricing, and processes. It offers a full range of mortgage products: Purchase, Refinance, Investment, Jumbo products, Second home, Construction, Multiple collateral, Fixed second, Home equity, Lot loan, and more. It is located in Piedmont Center (Building Three), and does business nationally; see Web site for geographical restrictions: www.PrivatePlusMortgage.com. In addition to the mortgage division, Private Bank of Buckhead includes a Decatur location, Private Bank of Decatur.
