Winegrower Leads Tasting at Chocolate Perks

David Harris of Blackstock Vineyards and Winery in the North Georgia Mountains brings his wines to Duluth.

David Harris, owner and winegrower at Blackstock Vineyards and Winery in Dahlonega, led a tasting of his wines recently for an enthusiastic group at Chocolate Perks in Duluth.

Chocolate Perks provided pimento cheese bites with bacon and jalapenos, sweet-sauced barbecue pork bruschetta with caramelized onions, and kickin’chili for Harris to pair with his wines including a Viognier, Sangiovese Rosé, and Rocking Chair Red. Chocolate Perks owner Marsha Bomar offered strawberry shortcake and Black Magic truffles to pair with Blackstock’s highly rated dessert wine Touriga Dulce.
