When Chaos Takes Over, Call the 'ClutterNinja'

Suzanne Willett launches professional organizing firm for homes in Duluth.

There's a new superhero in town, and her name is Suzanne Willett. When she moves into organizing action she assumes a new form as the "ClutterNinja." Her job is to get in and get out and leave your home more organized.

Duluth resident Suzanne Willett launched ClutterNinja this summer as a way to combine her years of experience in retail management with her love of everything clutter-free. The ClutterNinja's core focus is on residential organizing services creating strategies for areas such as kitchens, closets, garages, kids’ bedrooms, and playrooms. She also offers move planning and strategy.

Initial consultations are free. During that meeting Willett assesses each client's needs and concerns. She learns what's working and what's not. Willett then formulates an action plan and sets a schedule to tackle the project(s) at hand.

"Everyone has their own definition of what 'organized' means. Some are more focused on aesthetics and others on function. Being organized is a learned skill, and I work to teach you how to best apply it to your life." Willett is happy to work side-by-side with clients that want to be engaged or offer hands-free organizing for those that just want her to make the problem go away.

The professional organizing industry recently has seen growth as people faced with increasing demands and less free time try to gain control of their environment and decrease the stress caused by clutter and chaos. Professional organizers help individuals gain this control, through projects as simple as designing and organizing a closet to complex projects such as multi-room space planning. Professional organizers also help with paper and records management and even time management and goal-setting.
