Utensils on Floor, Food Residue on Stove and Fryer; Duluth Restaurant Gets a 'U'

Duluth Restaurant Inspections: See the latest health checks of area eateries.

A Duluth-area restaurant recently received a "69/U' score in a routine health inspection by the Gwinnett Health Department.

Tsing Tao BBQ at 3940 Buford Highway, Suite B103 was cited for several violations on Nov. 13. Among them:

  • Single use utensils observed sitting on floor under prep table behind register. The utensils must be relocated to higher shelving. Single-use items must be stored in a clean, dry location at least 6 inches off of floor.  New Violation.
  • The stove, fryer, floor under the fryer observed with food residue and debris. The employees must clean all equipment and floor surfaces. The physical facilities must be cleaned as often as necessary to keep them clean and by methods to prevent food contamination.  Corrected On-Site.  New Violation.
