USPS Seeks Community Input

Moving some mail processing operations from Atlanta to north metro facility in Duluth proposed.

The United States Postal Service is seeking community input regarding a proposal to move some mail processing operations from the Atlanta Processing and Distribution Center into the North Metro Processing and Distribution Center in Duluth.

USPS Atlanta District Manager Salvatore Vacca and USPS Senior Plant Manager Scott Raymond will give an overview on the proposal at 6 p.m. Wednesday, March 28, at Hapeville Elementary School, 3440 North Fulton Ave., in Hapeville.

The proposal would take advantage of available processing capacity at the Duluth center to increase efficiency and improve productivity.
