The 10-screen upscale theater features first-run movies, comfortable stadium seating, restaurant-quality food, individual dining tables, a lounge, and a full-service bar. Movies will be shown using state-of-the-art Dolby Digital technology and 3D. A new menu introduced in October offers more than 100 food and beverage items.

The bar serves draft beers, premium wines including SMG’s Studio label, and more than 15 specialty cocktails including the infamous SMG Skinny Tea. Special promotions such as Margarita Mondays and Beer N’ Burger Tuesdays will also be featured.

Studio Movie Grill offers reserved seating, online purchasing options and multiple-price tickets.

In addition to first-run showings, SMG’s alternate programming will present specialized series and documentaries, sports, concerts, family programming, and monthly screenings for special needs children and their families. Ticket prices for these events start as low as $1.

On the second Wednesday of each month, Studio Movie Grill will offer “Girls Night Out” at 7:30 p.m. for $1. The first "Girls Night Out" on Dec. 12 features the movie “Love, Actually.” A retro series of classic movies will be offered at 7:30 p.m. the third Thursday of each month for $1. The initial movie in the series Dec. 20 will be “Home Alone.”

The Duluth venue is SMG’s 11th location and second in the Atlanta area. There is a SMG theater on Holcomb Bridge Road in Roswell.

Besides the opportunity to enjoy the experience of cinema dining, the new theater is creating about 200 jobs in the Duluth area.
