Sno Biz Shaved Ice & Treats Closes on Main Street

Duluth Economic Development Manager Chris McGahee reports that Pure Taqueria has rented space for a complimentary business, such as a frozen yogurt shop.

The space that was occupied by Sno Biz Shaved Iced & Treats, which closed Monday (Oct. 31) on Main Street in Historic Downtown Duluth, apparently isn’t going to stay vacant long. The retail space was rented the next day.

Duluth Economic Development Manager Chris McGahee reported at the Tuesday (Nov. 1) Duluth Merchants Association meeting that Pure Taqueria has rented the space and plans to open a complementary business, such as a frozen yogurt shop. Pure Taqueria, which opened Oct. 8, is located at the corner of Main Street and Ga. Hwy. 120 across the street from the former Sno Biz location.

Sno Biz opened at 3107 Main St. in May serving shaved ice snow balls, Nathan’s Famous Hot Dogs, nachos and chili.
