How Did Pure Taqueria, Other Duluth Restaurants Do on Health Checks?

Duluth restaurant inspections: See the latest health checks for area eateries.

Several Duluth area restaurants underwent health inspections recently by the Gwinnett Health Department.

Here are the results:

  • PURE TAQUERIA: The restaurant at 3108 Main Street received a "77/C" rating on Sept. 24. Among the violations noted: Violation of Code: [.07(6)(c) ] Chemicals not stored so that they cannot contaminate food, equipment, utensils, linens, and/or single-service articles. Bottle of hydrogen peroxide being stored in kitchen area above food prep area. Bottle removed. Must ensure all chemicals are properly stored.  Corrected On-Site.  New Violation.

  • WORLD OF COFFEE AND TEA: The restaurant at 2715 Buford Highway, Suite 500 received a "100/A" rating on Sept. 24.

  • SEOUL RESTAURANT: The restaurant at 3585 Peachtree Industrial Boulevard, Suite 136 received an "82/B" rating on Sept. 24. Among the violations noted: Roach bait station stored on metal hot plate. Plate washed and bait station DISCARDED. Poisonous or toxic materials shall be stored so they can not contaminate food, equipment, utensils, linens, and single-service and single-use articles.  Corrected On-Site.  New Violation.

  • NAAN N CURRY:  The restaurant at 3083 Breckenridge Boulevard, Suite 210, received an "89/B" rating on Sept. 24. Among the violations noted: Chaffing fuel and lighter fluid stored above vegetable sink and ice machine. Chaffing fuel and lighter fluid moved. Chemicals must be kept separate from prep areas and ice machine.  Corrected On-Site.  New Violation.
