If you want chips for your weekend barbecue or picnic, you'll want to be aware of this promotion Friday, May 11, in Duluth and elsewhere.
Frito-Lay and Kroger are teaming up for Free Flavor Friday, according to a news release. The chip maker is giving away sample bags of Doritos Jacked tortilla chips and the newest Ruffles flavors from 3 to 8 p.m.

Frito-Lay describes its Doritos Jacked chips as bigger and thicker than regular Doritos. They come in two bold flavor combinations: Enchilada Supreme and Smoky Chipotle BBQ.
The Ruffles flavors are based on flavors guys like including BBQ ribs and loaded bacon and cheddar potato skins.
