Duluth Companies Warmly Welcomed to Gwinnett

Gwinnett Chamber recognizes new, relocated and expanded companies at reception.

Several Duluth companies, including Cavanna Packaging USA, Oli, and Primerica, were welcomed by Partnership Gwinnett and Gwinnett Chamber Economic Development at a reception for new, relocated and expanded businesses in Gwinnett County for 2012.

Also, Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta opened an $8-million data center near its Satellite Boulevard campus in Duluth during the past year. Kasier Permanente established the Gwinnett Comprehensive Medical Center on Steve Reynolds Boulevard in Duluth.

More than 80 business leaders and representatives of 18 new and expanding Gwinnett companies attended the Feb. 20 reception. Besides Duluth, the companies are located in Buford, Dacula, Lawrenceville, Norcross, Peachtree Corners, Snellville, Stone Mountain, Sugar Hill, and Suwanee.

“We welcome each of these companies to Gwinnett County and are excited they have chosen to grow their businesses here,” stated Gwinnett County Commission Chairman Charlotte Nash, in a press release. “We appreciate the investment they bring to our local economy and look forward to their continued success in the future.”

Attendees included representatives from Cavanna Packaging USA, Inc., Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta, Eastside Medical Center, Galectin Therapeutics, Georgia Gwinnett College, Heatcraft Worldwide Refrigeration, I.B.I.S, Inc., Kaiser Permanente of Georgia, Mitsubishi Electric US Cooling & Heating, NovoLogic, Inc., Official Payments, OLI, Primerica, Red Clay Interactive, SherTek, and Sports Challenge Network.

New and growing small businesses were also recognized including Adrian Collaborative, LLC in Duluth and CubeVibe, the 2012 Amazing Entrepreneur Contest winner, in Sugar Hill.
