Downtown Duluth Farmer's Market Cancelled

Difficulty obtaining farmers, vendors cited as reason for cancelling market for remainder of summer.

The city has cancelled the Duluth Farmers Market for the remainder of the summer.

β€œThe company that we worked with was having difficulty getting vendors, so we have decided to not continue it for this year,” Crystal Huntzinger, public service information officer announced Wednesday.

The market had operated Saturday afternoons during May and the first two weeks of June in the parking lot at Hill Street and Georgia Hwy. 120 (Abbotts Bridge Road) in downtown Duluth. Fresh fruits and vegetables, homemade food items and hand-made crafts were available for purchase.
