Brick Installation Continues on Pure Taqueria

Walls of restaurant in Downtown Duluth faced with bricks and overhang now installed.

Installation of brick on the Pure Taqueria at the corner of Ga. Hwy. 120 and Main Street in Downtown Duluth is continuing. While the walls are faced with new brick, the windows and doors are trimmed in 102-year-old brick salvaged from the end of the Red Clay Theatre building next door when it was demolished. Workmen also have installed an overhang on the Main Street side.

Although the opening has been delayed until Oct. 3, Pure Taqueria will have a presence at the Duluth Fall Festival Sept. 24-25. Under a tent directly in front of the restaurant, Pure Taqueria will be serving pork, steak and fish tacos along with Margaritas and draft beerΒ during the festival.
