12 Gwinnett Companies on Bulldog 100 List

The list recognizes the 100 fastest growing businesses nationwide that are either owned or operated by University of Georgia alumni. There's a Duluth company on the list.

Twelve Gwinnett companies are included on the UGA Alumni Association’s 2013 Bulldog 100. The list recognizes the 100 fastest growing businesses nationwide that are either owned or operated by University of Georgia alumni. 

Partnership Gwinnett and Gwinnett Chamber Economic Development shared the Gwinnett company names on the Bulldog 100.

“With more than 700 nominations for the 2013 Bulldog 100, businesses included on the list have proven to be highly competitive, successful companies,” stated Stan Jackson, director of communications for the UGA Alumni Association, in a press release issued by Partnership Gwinnett. “We are pleased to congratulate the Gwinnett companies and UGA alumni recognized with this honor and look forward to seeing their continued growth in the future.”

Lawrenceville-based NovoLogic, which offers professional services to large and small businesses, was 49th on the list.

“We are honored to be included on this prestigious list, as it affirms the growth and success our company has been experiencing over the past year,” said Jay Hassell, COO of NovoLogic, Inc. “Gwinnett has offered us numerous opportunities to expand, a wide network of support, and encouragement through our development; we are proud to call this community home.”

A leading IT support company, Norcross-based LAN Systems was ranked 84th on the list.

 “We are delighted to be included on this list and recognized within the Gwinnett community, said LAN Systems CEO Mary Hester. “This honor serves as confirmation that we are thriving in this area and offering the solutions our clients need to grow their own businesses.”

Duluth-based Innovative Outdoors, a landscape design and outdoor lighting specialist, was 65th.

Ranked at 29th was the Service Team of Re/Max Legends in Buford.

Evans, Simpson & Atkins of Snellville, a provider of insurance and other services to financial institutions, was 80th on the Bulldog 100.

To be considered for inclusion in the annual list, businesses must be at least five years old. The ratings are then generated based upon the company’s compounded annual growth rate of revenues for the past three years.
