There's a Mother's Day, there's a Father's Day and now there's “National KidsDay”! Spend some great quality time with your kids before school starts back. Here are plans for the day announced by the City of Duluth in a press release.
National KidsDay was created in 1994 by KidsPeace, a 130-year-old national children's charity, to encourage adults to spend more meaningful time with their children. The City of Duluth is hosting the Duluth KidsDay Festival this Sunday, Aug. 5, from 1 to 5 pm on the Town Green. Admission is free, so bring your family out for a great afternoon of entertainment and activities celebrating kids!

2 pm: Music is Magic, Goes Across the Country
3 pm: Atlanta Puppet “Specialty Puppet Show”
