Gwinnett Ballet Theatre to perform 'A Midsummer Night's Dream in Duluth
Gwinnett Ballet Theatre company dancers prepared for their Saturday production of "A Midsummer Night’s Dream" with Thom Clower, a nationally renowned choreographer. He instructed the gifted young artists in his original choreography for the ballet based on the classic Shakespeare play.
The Snellville-based Gwinnett Ballet Theatre will present the ballet as its Spring Concert at the Gwinnett Performing Arts Center in Duluth at 2:30 and 7:30 p.m. March 5.
A cast of 90 dancers will bring Shakespeare’s comic tale of fairies, lovers, and magic spells to life. There will also be seven new contemporary works and a classical pas de deux from "Sleeping Beauty" on the program.
