Two Americana Music Acts at RCT This Weekend

Eddie Owen Presents at the Red Clay Theatre (RCT) in Duluth is featuring two Americana music acts this weekend.

The Steel Wheels with special guests Red June performs at 8 p.m. Friday, Feb. 24. An Americana band, Steel Wheels music explores the territories between blues and bluegrass and features old-time sing alongs and foot-stompin’ fiddle tunes, according to the Eddie Owen Presents website. Tickets are $15 in advance and $18 at the door.

Singer-songwriter Darrell Scott will have a launch party for his newest CD at 8 p.m. at RCT Saturday, Feb. 25. “Long Ride Home” is currently tied for No. 1 on the Americana chart. Gareth Asher will also perform as a special guest. Tickets are $25 in advance or $30 at the door.

Tickets for both concerts are still available. Red Clay Theatre is located at 3116 Main St. in Historic Downtown Duluth. Doors open at 7 p.m. Concerts start at 8 p.m.
