Three Singer-Songwriters Appearing at Red Clay

Garrison Star and David Berkeley on stage Friday in Duluth. Ari Hest performing Saturday.

Eddie Owen Presents will host three singer-songwiters on stage at the Red Clay Theatre in Duluth Friday, May 4, and Saturday, May 5.

Garrison Starr and David Berkeley are appearing Friday. The EOP website describes Mississippi native Starr, who now calls the road her home, as genuine, earthy and unselfconscious. Starr has performed in support of Steve Earle, Mary Chapin Carpenter and Melissa Etheridge.

Berkeley, a romantic realist, is known for his ability to look at the human condition in all its complexity and deliver luminous songs full of sunshine and anguish, melancholy and delight, according to EOP.
