Three Concerts, Student Showcase at RCT

Singer-songwriters appearing Thursday, Friday & Saturday. Student musicians to perform in benefit concert for Duluth Cluster Schools Foundation Sunday.

Red Clay Theatre in Duluth is presenting a full line-up concerts this weekend. The Hannah Thomas Band is appearing Thursday night followed by Peter Bradley Evans Friday night. Singer-songwriters will perform in-the-round Saturday night. Duluth’s Got Talent featuring Duluth students will be presented Sunday afternoon.

Just 23 years old, singer-songwriter Hannah Thomas spent 2012 touring on the road entertaining folks with her country rock songs. Hannah has shared the stage with Marshall Chapman, Don Dixon & Marti Jones, Michelle Malone, Amy Ray, Beautiful Small Machines (Bree Sharp & Don DiLego),  Jen Foster, Antigone Rising and others.

She also has performed at half time during an Atlanta Falcons game.

Her newest CD is titled “Goodbye on Wasted Time.”

 Peter Bradley Adams, formerly half of the duo Eastmountainsouth, was signed by Robbie Robertson of The Band to DreamWorks Records in 2002. Since then, Peter has released four solo records as well as an EP with his side project "Down Like Silver."

Duluth’s Got Talent will showcase Duluth middle and high school musicians and vocalists. The concert will benefit the Duluth Cluster Schools Foundation.

The theatre welcomes singer-songwriters for Open Mic Night Monday.

Here's the concert schedule Thursday-Monday, April 18-22, for “Eddie Owen Presents” at the Red Clay Theatre in Duluth.

THURSDAY, APRIL 18
Hannah Thomas Band with special guests Don Dixon and Marti Jones

Doors open at 7 p.m., Concert 8 p.m.
Tickets: Regular reserved seating $13 in advance, $16 at the door; premium reserved seating $15 in advance, $20 at the door.

FRIDAY, APRIL 19
Peter Bradley Evans with special guest Molly Parden

Doors open at 7 p.m., Concert 8 p.m.
Tickets: Regular reserved seating $16 in advance, $18 at the door; premium reserved seating $18 in advance, $22 at the door.

SATURDAY, APRIL 20
In-the-round performance by Phil Madeira – Naked Blue – Wyatt Easterling

Doors open at 7 p.m., Concert 8 p.m.
Tickets: Regular reserved seating $15 in advance, $18 at the door; premium reserved seating $18 in advance, $22 at the door.

SUNDAY, APRIL 21
Duluth’s Got Talent

Doors open at 1:30 p.m., Concert 2 p.m.
Tickets: General admission $10 in advance, $12 at the door.

MONDAY, APRIL 22
Open Mic Night for Singer-Songwriters

Winner receives $100 prize and entry in the second Open Mic Shootout June 1.
Doors open at 7 p.m., Concert 7:30 p.m.
Tickets: $5 in advance, $8 at the door. Performing musicians admitted free.
