Music on Three Stages in Duluth

Atlanta Rhythm Section headlining third annual Duluth Music Festival Saturday, Aug. 25, downtown.

Atlanta Rhythm Section will headline Duluth’s third annual Music Festival. Musical acts will be presented on three stages downtown from 2 to 10 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 25.

Music genres of all kinds will appear on the Duluth Festival Center Amphitheater Stage and the Main Street Stage. Open Mic Atlanta will feature musicians in the Gazebo Stage. Admission to the festival is free.

Atlanta Rhythm Section has been a part of the Southern Rock scene for more than 30 years and has produced 15 albums of original music. The Atlanta-based band’s biggest hits include “So Into You,” “Champagne Jam,” “Imaginary Lover,” and “Spooky.”

The festival will also feature a Kids Zone and Food Court with beverages on sale to include beer and wine. Vendors will be charging nominal fees.

Downtown merchant Luv for Art is celebrating its one-year anniversary in conjunction with the music festival and will be offering live music, art demonstrations, and free art projects for the children. The celebration will take place under a tent in front of the store.

Premium tables with reserved up-close seating to the Amphitheatre stage are on sale until Friday, Aug. 24. Concert-goers also may bring lawn chairs and blankets.

Outside food and beverages including beer and wine are allowed. Concert attendees may purchase alcoholic beverages from local restaurants and walk around the downtown area. 

Also performing will be Duluth Idol Winners, Young America, Gasoline Bros, 116th Army Band, Full Circle, The Jonathan Gale Band, Aspen Countryman, Emily Jackson, Julie Gribble, and Kate Wright.
