Country music artist Trent Tomlinson will headline the second annual Duluth Music Festival Saturday, Aug. 20. The festival from 2 p.m. to midnight will offer live music on the Duluth Festival Center Amphitheatre Stage, the Red Clay Theatre and an Open Mic Stage.

The Gwinnett School of Rock, My Salsa Dance School, the 116th Army Band, the Metro Jazz Club, Full Circle, Harms Way, Hannah Thomas and others will also entertain concert-goers. Vendors at the festival include music and performing arts schools offering classes, vocal lessons, recording studios, musicians and more.

Singer/songwriter Tomlinson was signed by Lyric Street Records in 2005, and his debut album “Country Is My Rock” was released in early 2006. This album produced three Top 40 singles on the U.S. Billboard Hot Country Songs charts: "Drunker Than Me" at No. 19, "One Wing in the Fire" at No.11, and "Just Might Have Her Radio On" at No. 21. Three more singles were released in 2009. He describes his music as “open a beer, sit in a lawn chair, let’s have a party” country. For more info, visit www.trenttomlinson.com
