Hudgens Fall Art Classes Starting

The offerings include drawing for adults and children, mixed media, oil and acrylic painting, glass art, photography, quilting, pottery, and more.

Fall art classes start the week of Aug. 20 at the Hudgens Center for the Arts in Duluth.

The offerings include creative drawing for adults and children, mixed media, oil and acrylic painting, glass art, photography, quilting, pottery, and more, according to a press release issued by the center. There will also be painting and pottery classes taught in Korean

Classes are available both days and evenings and typically meet one day a week for eight weeks, although some meet only six weeks, such as a parent/child pottery class. Daytime pottery classes are offered for homeschoolers.

The Hudgens also offers one-day workshops including children's Saturday drawing, enameled jewelry, sgraffito (carving on clay), soap making, and others.

Hours for The Hudgens are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesdays through Saturdays.

The Hudgens Center for the Arts is located at 6400 Sugarloaf Parkway, Bldg. 300, in Duluth, in the complex.Β
