Comprehensive list of weekend activities compiled by the Gwinnett Convention and Visitor's Bureau.

Here are some of the things happening in Duluth and Gwinnett County Sept. 28-30.

First and foremost, it's Duluth Fall Festival Weekend. The festival opens with a parade at 10 a.m. Saturday and continues Sunday featuring a carnival, arts and crafts booths, live entertainment, food vendors and more on the Duluth Town Green.

This is the festival's 30th Anniversary year. Festival hours are 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday and 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday. For more information, visit the festival website at www.duluthfallfestival.org.

Eddie Owen Presents Grace Pettis with The Highlanders as special guests at 8 p.m. Friday at the Red Clay Theatre in Duluth. Doors open at 7 p.m. The concert starts at 8 p.m. Tickets are $15-$18. www.eddieowenpresents.com

Mixed Nuts, an all lady comedy show, is being presented at New Dawn Theater in Duluth at 8 p.m. Friday. www.newdawntheatercompany.com

Mother's Finest will perform Friday at Wild Bill’s in Duluth. The concert starts at 9:30 p.m. Tickets are $20-$60. www.wildbillsatlanta.com or www.ticketmaster.com
