Skid Row, the first “hard rock/heavy metal” band to debut a record on Billboard’s album charts at #1, plays Gwinnett’s Wild Bill’s to close out the 2011 Summer Rock Series. Other shows in this year’s Summer Rock Series lineup included: Rehab, Aaron Lewis, Dokken and Cinderella.
The show serves as a postponement date for the original June 25th show. According to the band, the postponement was due to a band member injury. Guitarist Scotti Hill had broken his hand while the band was on tour. On Twitter, Hill said, “"It wasn't that bad; I didn't even cry. Besides, this is rock and roll. If you haven't had some injures, you’re not doing it right."
Skid Row plans to make it worth the fans’ wait by playing a set representing every one of the band’s records, featuring hit songs as well as several tunes even some fans might not expect.
