PATTY GRIFFIN has been a busy lady. Since her critically hailed 1996 debut “Living With Ghosts,” a bare-bones collection of acoustic songs, Patty has consistently been on the road touring. Her very first shows were solo/acoustic affairs. Over the last 16 years she’s released six recordings including her 2011 Grammy Award winning take on gospel music, “Downtown Church.” Her touring career has featured hard rocking bands, acoustic ensembles, gospel outfits, twangy trios and guitar duos. She’s toured collaboratively with 3 Girls & Their Buddy as well as Band of Joy and most recently with Sensational Space Shifters. Now she’s decided it is time to come full circle and give it whirl on stage alone; just her voice, a guitar, a microphone, and the audience. She has carefully chosen a few great intimate venues to host this special handful of shows happening in October. Griffin’s set list will include fan favorites but lucky audiences will be the first to hear brand new material recently recorded for an album scheduled to be released early 2013.
