MLK Day Parade in Lawrenceville

The United Ebony Society of Gwinnett County Inc. is holding the annual Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Parade in downtown Lawrenceville, beginning at the Gwinnett Historic Courthouse and ending at Central Gwinnett High.  Following the parade will be a one-hour event at the high school theater highlighting student essays on Dr. King. It begins at 11:45 a.m., and the essay topic is "Your Character Builds Your Future."
