Duluth To Extend Food Truck Friday in 2013

The mobile cuisine block party began in the downtown area in September.

Food truck cuisine has proven to be popular in Duluth in 2013, as it has elsewhere in Gwinnett County.

So popular, in fact, that Duluth officials are extending the weekly Food Truck Friday through Nov. 15, city spokesperson Alisa Williams said Monday (Oct. 28).

The mobile cuisine is the central theme to a block party event, which usually features live music and sometimes a movie. The event usually is held in the downtown area, except when it was moved because of preparations for the Duluth Fall Festival in late September.

Food truck events also have been held in Suwanee and Peachtree Corners in 2013.
