Duluth Brown Bag Lunch Series Kicks Off June 16

Pack a lunch and head over to Town Green for free noontime entertainment every other Thursday.

Pack a lunch and head over to the Duluth Town Green for some noontime fellowship and entertainment. The city’s Brown Bag Lunch Series kicks off Thursday, July 16, with a puppet show.

The series continues every other Thursday with free entertainment from noon to 1 p.m. at the Duluth Amphitheater, 3142 Hill St., through July 28.

  • June 16: Atlanta Puppet presents “Wet and Wild Fun Puppet Show” –Master Puppeteer Peter Hart presents professional puppet shows featuring international marionettes and other puppetry styles that are superior entertainment for family audiences.

  • June 30: Magic Debbie presents “Interactive Comedy Magic & Mindreading” – Her show will dazzle, delight, and mystify attendees. Debbie has entertained children of all ages including President George H.W. Bush. The audience will be amazed by her colorful, interactive comedy magical illusions.

  • July 14: Craver presents “Upbeat Party Rock Concert” – This local Atlanta solo performer will have everyone on their feet with upbeat party rock from the 1950s through today.

  • July 28: Ron Anglin presents “Quite A Catch, Comic & Educational Juggling” – Ron is still “having a ball!” Now in his 12th year as a full-time performer, Ron juggles and entertains audiences with his act “Quite a Catch!” Don’t miss this dynamic performance. www.quiteacatch.net
