At Last -- Fireworks in Duluth

Pyrotechnics and music are scheduled for Saturday.

Remember the fireworks that weren't in Duluth over the July Fourth weekend? They're back. With music.

According to a city news release, a music and fireworks event will be held Saturday, Sept. 14, beginning at 7 p.m. at the city amphitheater.

Headlining the music part will be Rupert's Orchestra, a 12-piece dance band that performs Top 40 hits as well as classic rock and swing, according to their website. They have a lengthy song list. Also, the Skipperdees will open the music portion of the evening.

Duluth was one of several area cities that had to postpone holiday fireworks because of the rainy weather during the Fourth of July.
