There's a New Top Dog in Duluth

Chattapoochee Dog Park has a new 'mayor.'

Drum roll, please ...

Marley is the new Top Dog in Duluth, winning a public voting contest as new "mayor" of Chattapoochee, the dog park at Rogers Bridge Park. Marley succeeds Shiner.

Marley already is known to patrons in downtown Duluth as the "art shop dog" at Luv For Art/Eye Candy Art Studio, according to a city news release.

Word is that Marley is a "pawsitive" leader that supports his community, and is in the process of becoming a therapy dog for hospitals and airports to calm people suffering from stress.  Not surprisingly, he has recommended “treat trucks for dogs” for Duluth’s Food Truck Fridays.

As you might expect, Marley has a Facebook page. Also, he can be reached via his owner, Bruno Taillefer, at mayormarley@gmail.com, or 770-789-7705.
