Ring in New Year on Duluth Town Green

See schedule of events. Festive activities include a Winter Carnival, Chick-fil-A Bowl viewing on a giant screen, DJ music, a dance party band, and midnight fireworks. Downtown shops and restaurants will be open.

Ring in 2013 in downtown Duluth with winter activities on the Duluth Town Green and live music on the Duluth Festival Center Stage.

This family-friendly celebration Monday, Dec 31, will include dancing to a DJ, Chick-fil-A Bowl viewing on a giant screen, a Winter Carnival, and a performance by The American Flyers Show Band

The carnival will feature a gigantic snow slide, inflatables, rides, games, and food and beverage vendors. The snow slide is free.

“Crawl” through downtown to visit shops and dine in the restaurants.  

At midnight, the city’s logo will ascend upwards amidst a spectacular display of fireworks and shouts of "Happy New Year!"

The New Year’s Eve festivities start at 6 p.m. and conclude at 12:30 a.m. Admission is free. There will be nominal charges for Winter Carnival activities, food and beverages.

9 pm to 9:45 pm:  Urbanology Dancers with a Special Guest Vocalist
10 pm to 12:30 am:  The American Flyers Show Band
Midnight:  YOUR SPIRIT WILL SOAR AS WE RAISE OUR ICON WITH FIREWORKS DISPLAY!

*Dine at our delicious downtown restaurants:  Pure Taqueria, Steverino’s, Chocolate Perks or Park Café
OR at the below food vendors located on the Town Green:

3 Guys Entertainment (hamburgers, hot dogs, chicken wings, frys, funnel cakes & MORE)

NOTE:  This is a RED ZONE event, which is a policy that allows patrons to purchase alcoholic beverages from our local merchants and walk around the downtown area.

This is an outside event (rain or shine) so dress accordingly.
*Outside Food, Beverage, Chairs/Blankets are allowed.
FREE admission and parking!

Attendees are advised to leave their pets safely at home due to the large volume of people and noise (fireworks).
