Fireworks Flash as Duluth Celebrates America

Duluth residents gathered at Scott Hudgens Park for traditional Fourth of July festivities.

It was a long wait, but worth it. Duluth residents began gathering at Scott Hudgens Park for the 12th annual community celebration of the Fourth of July on Sunday afternoon (July 3). There were carnival games, a climbing wall, pony rides and other activities to occupy the youngsters. Families and friends picnicked, visited and listened to music by Deja Vu, Norwood, and the Metro Jazz Club waiting for it to get dark enough for the main event of Duluth Celebrates America -- Fireworks!
