Duluth History Museum Open Grounds Tour

Duluth Girl Scout Troop 1941 and the Duluth Historical Society are hosting an Open Grounds Tour at the Strickland House on Sunday, May 22, 2011, from 3:00-5:00 pm. Troop 1941 recently earned their Bronze Award, the highest award that Girl Scout Juniors can receive, by creating a Certified Wildlife Habitat on the property of the Strickland House. Members of the troop will be available to show visitors how they can create a Certified Wildlife Habitat at their house or place of business.  The museum will also be open during those hours, and tour prices are only $3 for adults and $1 for children. Information about Certified Wildlife Habitats can be found on the National Wildlife Foundation's website at: http://www.nwf.org. Information about the Girl Scouts of Greater Atlanta can be found at: http://www.gsgatl.org/.
