Duluth Celebrates Pi Day with Pie — Lots of It

As a part of Duluth celebrating Weird & Wacky Holidays, March 14th will be a celebration of all things Pie.

Duluth is hosting a Pie Baking Contest at Crave Pie Studio, 3107 Main Street, Duluth, on Friday, March 14th from 6pm to 8pm. This is a time to bring out the pie recipe’s you friends and family members are begging you to reveal and compete for the title of Grand Champion for best overall pie. The pies entered will be judged by none other than Mayor Nancy Harris and Chef Tiffany Moon of Park Café, so they better be tasty.

All pies entered into the contest must have a Pie-Baking Form attached along with a list of ingredients and a $5 pie entry fee. The forms and more details about entry are available at Crave Pie Studio’s website www.cravepie.com.

There will be a 1st place Blue Ribbon awarded to each category and one overall Grand Champion Ribbon announced that night. This event is a fundraiser for Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta meaning not only will you get to celebrate pies, but you will be helping a great cause as well. So come and party at Crave Pie and enjoy a night of all things pie with City of Duluth giveaways. Whether you enter a pie to be judged or come to taste pies be prepared to fill your Pi Hole full of tasty treats!
