A Building Comes Down in Duluth

Workers raze the former headquarters of the Gwinnett Sexual Assault & Children's Advocacy Center.

A vacant lot is all that remains of the former site of the Gwinnett Sexual Assault & Children's Advocacy Center.

Workers razed the blighted house Wednesday (Sept. 11), which was on Main Street near Downtown Duluth.

As reported by Patch, city officials had notified the center's leadership that the building would be demolished because of persistent maintenance issues.
