“This year is particularly exciting because it’s a year of change for us; our company is growing” says Sugarloaf Ballet artistic director Lori Zamzow-Wire. “We reached new heights last year with characters actually flying during Peter Pan Ballet. This year we are performing a ballet from our repertoire, Snow White, which we first performed five years ago. I’m making it stronger with more technical dynamics. In addition, I am adding elements of fun and surprise to keep the ballet interesting to watch.”

Revised productions include Snow White Ballet and The Nativity Ballet. In December Sugarloaf Ballet will join the ranks of many other ballet companies by adding Nutcracker Excerpts to their season. The Company’s 10th annual Youth Concert Series will offer another opportunity for future dance leaders, youth age 13-18, to showcase their passion and talents.
