Oct. 18, Lynyrd Skynyrd with The Marshall Tucker Band and Molly Hatchet. The legendary Southern rockers play together at Verizon Wireless Ampitheatre in Alpharetta. All three bands are a long way from their 1970s roots -- there have been decades of plane crashes, car accidents, natural deaths, health problems and retirements -- but they carry on the traditions of Southern hard rock.
Oct. 19. Rod Stewart with Steve Winwood. The rock legends appear at Philips Arena. Winwood is alternating dates with Boz Scaggs on Stewart's "Live the Life Tour." Stewart and Winwood have not played on the same ticket since 1965.
