The 'Recuperate' Debate: Who Won?
The lights went on and the Recuperate Debate began. How did it end? It was a DRAW! We watched as Romney and Obama came out ready to fight for votes. They both dressed sharp. They both criticized the other. They both were willing to tell how they would run our country if elected. They both were holding their best weapons ready to explode when the time was right.
Let’s face it, it you liked Romney before the debate, you love him now! If you liked President Obama before the debate you are probably still swooning over him and his failed presidency. The spin-doctors were out in full force after the recuperate debate announcing why their man blew his adversary away with every successive fired shot. It was high noon in the middle of the town and the people saw the gunfight they came to see. Obama had to recuperate if his campaign was to go on.
Obama’s people said he won! Romney’s people said he won! Here is what I saw and why I think both men won parts of this debate.Romney won because he continued to show the people how he, as president, would turn around the failed policies of the Obama administration. Obama was in a do or die position and because he did not die (like he did in the first debate) many on the left cheered him for his sharp shooting. All Obama had to do was a tiny bit better than he did at the last debate and he would be called the WINNER! He was a winner because he hit the target. Obama did not even have a loaded gun during the last debate. He had to recuperate from his past debate failure. Let’s face it, all Obama had to do was not fall asleep and he would be called the winner.
Now down to the specifics. The scientific polls showed Obama was the winner of the debate when those polled were asked. “Who won?” Yet, on many other topics, Romney ran away with the votes from the same polled viewers. Our national security issues, our economy, our foreign policy, and the deficit were all areas that the same viewers that said Obama won the debate stated that Romney would do a better job than the president.
This election is about the economy, jobs, and our national security. Romney tells Obama over and over how he is going to do it but Obama just does not get it! Obama does not understand how a strong economy will help the deficit issue. I understand it and I hate math. What is wrong with Obama’s mind that after four years he still does not understand economics? So here goes, maybe we can send this to Obama and he will finally get it!
Romney wants to release the restraints on small businesses to open up growth. Less restricted, they decide to hire new employees. What will that one change in attitude do to our economy? To start with we will have millions on unemployment move over to being taxpayers! Millions of unemployment checks go out each week to the unemployed. Millions of American citizens have been on public assistance for over two years. Many no longer get checks because there is no work to be found. So, if you get millions of Americans off of their weekly unemployment checks, that money, billions of dollars, will be saved and will stay in the government kitty. So, if we are not taking money out of our bank account, our bank account will be stronger. We now will have that money to use to whittle down the deficit. At 23 million people receiving about $250 each week that comes to about a savings of $5,750,000,000 each week. Please let that amount sink in. That is not a year worth of payments, it is only a week's worth. That is what the government pays out each week in unemployment checks on average. That money will be staying in the government's bank account. Do you understand what I am talking about?
Next, those very same millions of Americans will now be working at a job making, lets just settle on $10 per hour.They are working 40 hours a week. That means their paycheck will be about $400 per week. Their take home will be about $328 per week. They will be paying in about $72 per week in taxes. Now that they are drawing a paycheck they will now be paying the government money instead of taking money from the government. That amount will be about $1,656,000,000. Nearly $2 billion coming into the government each week. Let’s add up those two figures and we see a boost to the economy of $7,406,000,000 each week. SEVEN BILLION people. Yet, Obama keeps saying Romney will not tell him how he is going to do it. We will have to work to do to recover from the mess that Obama has this country in now. It will not happen overnight. Yet, I do not think Romney will be the Obama blaming type of leader, he knows how bad this economy is. He has blamed Bush for the last four years, who will he blame if he is reelected, himself? We are all tire of his inability to accept his own failures. Heck, he blamed Hillary this week, has he no shame?
Obama was very much like the Cheshire cat, VP Biden, but he took it to a new level. When Romney handed him his whinny hinny about his administration’s handling of the terrorist attack and the death of 4 Americans he was so frustrated with his failure that he told Romney to shut up! He told the moderator to Move On! Hold up there, Mr. President, this is America and like it or not we are entitled to be heard. You are NOT a ruler. America is a republic, not a kingdom. It was so sad to see the president talk about how he would fix our country as if this was 2008 and he had not been living in the White House for the last four years.
So what do you say about who won this debate? Let’s face it, the moderator, who blew it, she could not keep them in check. Telling them to sit down and that their time was up was not heard by either man. As a journalist hosting a debate, you NEVER interject your opinions into the evening and yet she did just that on the terror issue. This morning the talk is about her and not the candidates. With Clinton it was the word “IT.” With Obama it is the word, “terror.” As for the “act of terror’ comment, saying we don't allow an act of terror is not the same as saying, “We were attacked by terrorists!” They spent the next five days saying four Americans died because of a movie not because of a terrorist attack. Talk about spinning! His answer spoke volumes to me about his character. The only people that are swallowing that Kool Aid are the die-hard “Hail Obama” group and from the poll numbers, that group is shrinking every time Obama opens his mouth.
In the end I would just say this, which person would you want to handle your retirement, a man who openly admits that he has not done as well as this competitor or the man that was smart enough to build an awesome retirement for himself and his wife. I will vote for the more successful man. Once again Obama cheered for weakness, his own and called success failure. For me, the debate was about this, Obama had no answer for the man that stood up and said, “I voted for you last time and you have not delivered!” He spoke for most Americans. I only get one vote. I feel like it was a draw. The president did such a lousy job last time that all he needed to do was show up and he would be called the winner. He showed up just like he has shown up for the last four years: arrogant, angry, blaming, and with no answers to the problems facing Americans today. What say ye?

This is a very biased article. All of this anti-Obama rhetoric leaves me wondering what you guys are going to say when Obama wins this election and a second term. Bravo. Mr. Obama has proven himself to be an amateur as he was portrayed in the book. Watch the movie "2016" and it should stir anyone from voting for this man. He blames everyone else for his failures including allowing Hillary Clinton and Ms. Price to be thrown under the bus for the massacre in Libya. Any resurgence of the Taliban is due to the shackles his administration put on our military. The military should be able to conduct a war and peace keeping operation without armchair commander in chief.

Like I said, I inderstand your feelings. I couldn't believe we elected bush twice. Still can't believe it. However, bush is to blame for A LOT of the problems we have now. Also, your bit about the economy not improving is incorrect. But that's something you guys also scream conspiracy on. Brian's article are biased, I agree. However, he is a lone voice in a sea Obama hatred. It gets a little overwhelming at times to read the stuff on here.

Where are we seeing improvements in the economy? GPD growth is still down, just got revised even further down for last quarter. This year is shaping up to be lower than last year. Unemployment shows down, but only because the workforce is smaller. If we still had the same size workforce we had when Obama took office, we'd be sitting at over 11% unemployment. And we actually should have more people working, since the population is actually increasing.
The biggest problem is the debt. I know he inherited a lot of that debt, but a lion's share of what's been tacked on since he took office is his. Mainly for that horrid stimulus bill that we all knew wouldn't do any good. In order to spend that money, you have to first take it from the private sector. Yep, that makes perfect sense. Too bad somebody else didn't try to do the same thing in the recent past (**cough - Japan - cough**) and failed.
Nobody is going to blame Obama for the crappy economy he inherited. Of course, it's not Bush's fault, either, but that's another discussion. But we do blame him for us still being in this position. He's done nothing to help, and now he wants another four years. And some people are wanting to give it to him. Really?

To continue to blame Bush is like a women four years after a divorce still crying bout her divorced husband, GET OVER IT! Obama is to blame for our problems. Or we could just all agree with him and let's all say YES it was Bush's fault so what has he done about it? In four years he has done NOTHING! His commercials that are running every 15 minutes claim he has done 4 things as his claim to fame, FOUR! Four good things in FOUR years. so sad! The man lies, to the public, to the media, and to our allies. His lack of leadership is what caused those deaths just like his leadership caused the death of Bin Ladin! For the left and their supporters to just dismiss his lack of leadership is because they can not accept that THEY made a mistake of voting for him the first time around. If we had put Romney, Cain or even McCain in 4 years ago we would be so far ahead of where we are now because they are leaders not BLAMERS! Cynthia- Can you please explain to me how saving the car industry, banking industry, stemming unemployment, keeping more people in their homes for longer, killing Osama Bin Laden, Mumar Ghaddafi, giving Israel 1.8 billion dollars for Iron Dome Missle Defense System which we would like shared technology for (since we are paying for most of it), passing a much needed health care act, deporting more illegal immigrants in his first four years than Bush, and finally saying, that corporate board rooms and ceo's are failing and stealing from the tax payer!, is nothing??? Please to me why Bush cut government revenue during his 8 years of war??? while passing the biggest expansion of Medicare program "Medicare Part D" in its history and expanded almost all of the entitlement programs that you Cons... always complain about

My favorite is the one the left is dragging through the liberal media now! For days he said the embassy attack was in reaction to the movie! Looking bad for this lie, especially after this own State Department was out in public saying it was indeed a terrorist attack on the 10th anniversary ( Any fool would think of that first) he finally changed his mind & got on board with the truth. Did that end the lie? As we all know, to keep a lie going, you just keep adding another lie to make the first lie be more believable, enter the Rose Garden! At the debate, knowing his HUGE error in judgement he sheepishly says, " I said it in the Rose Garden, I said it was a terrorist attack in the Rose Garden!" Well let's see, Terrorist activity will not be allowed and the attack on our embassy was a terrorist attack on the anniversary of 911 carried out by muslin terrorist. NOT the same thing! But nice lie/try! It is a liberal things to use english to do away with your lies when you get caught. Let's face it he learned for the best, as in Lying Billy Clinton, "Well, that all depends on your meaning of the world IT!" He either was lying in the Rose Garden or the next 4 times he appeared in public when he continued to say NOPE IT IS ALL ABOUT THE MOVIE! Isley, There are none so blind as those who will not see. I suppose you hated the women that said Lying Billy Clinton was making sexual advancements towards them too! I suppose you will refuse to even see the movie 2016 because, like the left that called those women starved for affection, you don't want to see the truth for then you would have to admit you have made an error in judgement. Isley, I have a degree but child please, it is not from you or your blinded eyes of hope and forward foolishness. He has failed. He will continue to fail. He did not get the job done and he will be removed for lack of performance. For many on the left, they do not believe in cause and effects, preferring to blame others for their own failures, Obama is the worst example of this personality disorder I have ever seen. How do you live with the fact that he sent a WOMAN out to say, "I take all responsibility for the death and destruction in Libya." WOW talk about abusing women! Janey D. and Cynthia - let's not forget that biden said when asked in the VP debate why they did not supply the extra security when asked for bengasi, he straight up said, "We were never asked anything". the State dept. said they wre and obama alluded to it also in the last debate. they can't keep their story straight. Bottom line, this is one of those situations where something happens on your watch and you were outside taking a smoke break. In his case, a hollywood break (instead of putting his first job as a top priority). Only this is not a regualr job. People got killed because of his neglience.

Cynthia, I heard the resst of the story on those "binders". Romney was approached by several organization stating to him that there were a lot of women interested in political work. he said - Find them and, if qualified, we'll see what they can do. They turned out to be a great asset. They are women who tried to get into other political organizations but were overlooked; Romeny gave them the opportunity to prove themselves. Yeah, he's a real deadbeat when it comes to women. Unlike Obama whose women in his organization make, isn't it, 305 less than men/ I wish Romney had conveyed to that young woman the other night that currently (under obama) she is seeing what she's seeing. So, obama is suddenly going to change that? Not likely. He had 4 years to do that if he really feels that way (but then, he only has these feelings during an election season).

Romney needs to bring his A-game in all aspects of the campaign. I saw a report with a woman that was speaking up for Mitt. She said he was an awesome boss, he worked hard as governor, he was able to bring both sides together, & he had a plan and stayed on track and even after all those positive comments, the most amazing statement was that SHE was a democrat! Meanwhile Obama only has "woman for winning" Hillary. He would not have any women on his cabinet had Hillary & Bill not got her position for their support during the campaign after she lost. The Clintons were shocked when they did not win. As you can see she is still doing his dirty work! Actions speak louder than words. As for that "woman" who asked him that questions, her TRUE personality has come out on the right talk radio shows & lit's face it she is just about what a left would expect of a woman, nasty, active, lewd and of course a planted hack ( somewhat like our hidden liberal in this blog!) Plan now to TAKE 5, that means take 5 people to vote, pick them up, wait with them and then take them for a happy meal We must get the vote out. You go and vote early, then you have election day to get the vote out! The demos will be out getting every vote they can to the polls, it is time for Republicans to learn from the left and get everybody we can to the polls. Think who you can to vote. Parents are first to speak with as they are normally liberal as their life becomes controlled by the government, appeal to them for the future of their grandchildren! 18 year olds are next!

As for me cooking, girl have you got that right, why this week alone I make my famous chile, a post roast with mashed tatoes, a pork loin with greens and my favorite tuna salad sandwiches with fruit cups and peach tea! Yep, I am the kind of woman that men dream about and that is because I deliver a sizzling morning of bacon & eggs but I also bring home the bacon as well. Before Obama took office I was making over six figures! Yep, I am one of those hard working SUCCESSFUL people that you liberals hate, yep I work for a living and people come to me because I know how to get things done. That is why people came to Romney to save the Olympics because his reputation was one that could get things done. So your right, as a woman in the republican party, I am searching for a strong man not a blamer, movie star wannabe, leaderless man who blames woman when he refuses to see the truth about himself that everyone else has been for years! His major issue is Binders of Women - figures! He just does not understand WORK! binders of women-get real! Cynthia, I got something in my FB that made me do a double take. It was a question posed to women. THe picture on the left was of a binder and on the right was a roll of paper that said welfare. The caption was: Which one of these do you want your name written in?
People will criticize that but the sad part of it is that it is true. And not funny anymore no matter how many celebrities obama picks and grins with. He's not getting the job done because he simply doesn't know how. And I do believe it's true that the president doesn't do as much as those he surrounds himself with. Think about the quality of people Romney will surround himself with as opposed to what obama has. Mean and nasty nancy, harry reid, joe biden etc... He exchanged his communist buddies for clowns.

At least when a republican dishonors himself and his family, he steps down When a democrat dishonors his family and himself he brags about it, lies about it, hides it, discounts the woman as a right winged plan, ask people to pay for their legal fees, and when finally comes to terms that his nastiness is out in the public and the gig is up, he goes on TV and says "Indeed I did have relations with that woman!" WHEW Now that is the way democrats respects woman.
