Based on votes cast in the Readers' Choice poll this week, Duluth Patch readers think the Red Clay Theatre is the best concert/live music venue in the city. "Eddie Owen Presents" is staging weekly concerts by singer-songwriters and other performers on a regular basis at the intimate 250-plus seat venue acclaimed for its pristine acoustics.

For Memorial Day weekend, Eddie Owen is presenting Joe Grandsen's Big Band led by Dr. Gordon Vernick Friday, May 25, and the Callaghan Full Band Show Saturday, May 26. Songstress Annie Selleck is appearing as a special guest with Joe Grandsen's Big Band. Matthew Kahler is appearing with the Callaghan Full Band Show.

RCT doors open at 7 p.m., and the concerts start at 8 p.m. General admission seats are $20 in advance or $25 at the door for each concert. To order tickets, go to www.eddieowenpresents.com.
