Tim grew up in Gwinnett County since he was a child, attending GCPS at Lilburn Elementary, Trickum Middle and Parkview High. He stayed in Georgia and is a graduate of the Georgia Institute of Technology with a bachelor of science in Industrial and Systems Engineering. Immediately after graduation, Tim has had a career in real estate, currently running and operating a boutique real estate firm in the Metro Atlanta area headquartered in Duluth.
Also representing international business clients, Tim, who is fluent in Korean and English, has used his extensive experience acting as a global business consultant to assisted several European and Asian companies launch their U.S. headquarters in the United States. Tim accompanied former Atlanta Mayor Shirley Franklin and the Metro Atlanta Chamber of Commerce on Atlanta's East Asia Delegations, accompanied former Gwinnett County Commissioners and the Gwinnett Chamber to South Korea on their inaugural sister-city celebrations with Gangnam-Gu and Gwinnett County, and continues to accompany the Gwinnett Chamber on economic development delegations to Asia. Tim currently serves as the Chief Executive Officer of the International Business Accelerator LLC, a business incubator and consulting firm.
He also serves as the Assistant Secretary of the Gwinnett Place Community Improvement District.

Many of his passions and goals in life is based on the simple notion of “bridging the gap” between the different cultures and ethnicities. Culturally American but ethnically Korean, he understands the importance of working together. As the Asian-American population continually grows in the U.S. and especially in Georgia, he believes in the importance to solidify and build lasting relationships by understand the needs of each culture.
Catching up with old friends, playing with my dogs and traveling for fun when the schedule allows.
He is a founding member of the Gwinnett Chamber's Young Professionals (hYPe), a charter member and current board member for the Gwinnett Mosaic Rotary Club, and also serves on the Board of Directors for Gwinnett Clean and Beautiful. Active in the Korean community, he serves as a board member for the Korean American Coalition, the Korean American Scholarship Foundation, and was the Vice-President of the Next Generation Division of the Overseas Korean Traders Association of the Atlanta Chapter. He is currently the Vice President and President-Elect of the Greater Atlanta Chapter of the Asian Real Estate Association of America. He currently attends SaeHan Presbyterian Church in Atlanta.
